Best way you learn

Hi folks,

Hope you are looking forward to slowing down for the holidays… I’ll be in GUAM in only 6 days :-)

Here’s something you may not know about me, I’ve been working in Japan as a teacher for 14 years. I’m also a teacher trainer who owns his own school.

One of the things I’m well known for is my expertise in working with children.

One thing I’ve learned over the years is everyone learns differently. My good friend Kevin loves to print out reports, bind them and read em as needed. That would drive me nuts! I need video. If I can see it, I really get it and get it FAST.

What about you learning blogging with wordpress by video? Would you like to SEE it being done?

Yes, I’d like to learn wordpress via video. Sometimes I learn better with it written out, but usually I can learn either way.

I do like to learn with video although I appreciate
Kevin Riley’s ebooks too!

Speaking about Kevin, he has a link to this site from
his Kevin Riley Riley inc blog… I would like that type
of one column theme for a newsletter blog I would like to publish…

Did Kevin get that theme from you?

I’ll give it a shot, video that is. I usually prefer written but I can’t remember the last time written instructions matched what I was faced with on the computer screen when I tried to apply it. A step or two is always missed and throws off the whole process for me.

Actually, I hate videos. I learn better by reading. If there is a video for anything I’m interested in learning, I won’t bother with it unless there is also a pdf or ebook. But I’m sure that there are others who would benefit from videos.
