The Big Lie
blogging 1 CommentThere seems to be a rumor going around the net that you can make money with blogs.
I get mails all the time asking “how do you make money with blogs?” as if you can click a button called “BLOG” and fill your Paypal account to the brim with cold hard digital cash.
I see posts in marketing forums too asking the same question.
What the hell is going on here?
I have a theory…
If you go around long enough saying “Blogs Make Money” and get others to say it too long enough, hard enough and loud enough, the masses will be hypnotized into believing there must be some magic blog button somewhere they can click to get money now. As absurd as that sounds, I believe it’s the psychology behind what’s going on here.
Your blog is one piece of the profit puzzle, if you ask me. how to make money with blogs may not be the best question to ask. Maybe something better to ask is, “am I cut out to be in business for myself?”
If you have not seen Kevin Riley talking about being in business online, click on the following image and watch his video. There’s nothing to buy.
Kevin also gives away a good report that’s not selling anything or teaching how to make money but it teaches you the first thing you need to learn before making any money. These are the real fundamentals of success which no one is teaching or better avoiding teaching in any marketing forums or ebooks. This stuff gets glossed over at best and it’s costing too many people time and money as a result. Get this in place and you will be successful. And the bonus, you will not run around buying into the many big “Click the magic blog button to get money now” lies.

Hi Craig
You’re right about the big lie – money for nothing has always been the thing that attracts the greedy, and the vast majority fail.
Fact is though, blogging is considerably easier to get into than creating traditional websites. If you want to make money online and you’re prepared to work and learn, blogging is fast track and you can use it very effectively for affiliate marketing or your own products.
