Setting up your first blog warnings

Would you like to know how not to do well blogging?

Okay here it is:

Start a brand new blog and fill it with ads.

I’m writing this because I’ve seen so many new blogs that are filled with ads and zero value.

People contact me often to look at their blogs and I’m shocked to see what they’ve built.

It’s as if they’ve drank the Internet Marketing cool-aid labeled “start a blog, fill it with ads and sit on the beach while millions roll in”.

New blogging report coming soon

Hi folks :-)

I’m not sure what to do with “Your First Blog” guide I’m giving away here but I do know this, starting with it for you, is like putting the horse before the cart.

based on the feedback I’ve received, what people really need are concepts to start out with not mechanics.

The report I’m giving away now is all about mechanics and you should really not get into the mechanics until you’re clear on the concepts.

Let’s chat blogs today but first, I’d like to welcome over 700 new subscribers! Thank you for downloading my report and I hope you enjoy.

Looks likeĀ  “Your First Wordpress Blog” tutorial guide was a hit during the GOLDEN WEEK GIVE AWAY event hosted by my friend James Brown. If you will, drop him a line and thank him for rounding up all the free gifts for you, please.

A lot of questions came in asking what is a blog. My first thought?, it’s whatever you want it to be.

A blog isĀ  an on-line journal. Seeing that it’s online, it’s known as a Weblog. But it can be anything you want it to be. I’ve said that already.

For me, a blog is a tool, a way to share information with people. It’s also a way to interact with people via comments.

Before blogs, I used HTML sites. HTML sites are very difficult to manage, no where for folks to comment for interaction and a bit cumbersome.
