Wordpress guide is coming

Hi Folks,

For the past three weeks I’ve been working on a Wordpress guide for beginners. It’s going to be huge.

The name? “Your First Wordpress Blog – The beginner’s Definitive Guide”

This is the first of its kind because it walks you through every step it takes from getting your own domain name to configuring plugins. So far, its 45 pages and still going. It has loads of screen shots for the people that need to see an example.

Can you help?

What would you like in a guide like this?

I’ve put way too much time into this to give it away for free so what do you think someone should pay for such a guide? (What ever the price is, my subscribers will get a secret code for a deep discount.)

Should it have videos as well?

What should it have to make it the best in guide ever?

Thanks in advance

Craig, it would be REALLY cool if you could use videos (Camtasia) and let us watch over your shoulder as you set stuff up, maneuver around, etc. I would pay for this guide. Somehow, $67 is the point where I don’t hesitate to buy if the product is good. I you had videos, I would buy in a heartbeat. Thank you for all you do. You are so helpful and most inspiring.

My suggestion would be to include a list of inexpensive but reliable contacts for those who, once they’ve learned and understand wordpress, want to offload the work to a reliable support person who is not trying to earn their first fortune supporting wordpress.

While most guides would simply say “go to Rent-a-Coder or Elance” or some such service — a really great guide would actually have some contacts that have already proven to be reliable and reasonable.
